History and management philosophy of Aida farm
Aida farm is located in the kaji river basin of Niigata Prefecture. According to the inscription,preparatione and work in this land started in March 1755 and was previously changed to company organization in February 1993. Soil and sand particle is microscopic, so the rice field desn’t dry easily is very good for growing rice Before the war. It has been known in the locality as the finest rice-producing area. In 1987 it received permission of the growers-consumer direct distribution system of organic rice, the first in Japan.Corporate philosophy contributes to the promotion of health of consumer delivering rice that does not use any pesticides and chemical fertilizers and to strive to the conservation of environment rivers and sea.
The Aroma of Rice Field is alive in every grain
The aroma of rural district in every grain in the proof of organic cultivation. Reducing the amount of water when cooking, the cooked rice becomes chewy. We think people from countries who are used to eating relatively firm bread might take a liking to it. In addition, The rice are vaccum packed of vapor deposition which is suitable for export.

Aida Niigata Koshihikari rice, which is JAS organic, conforms to the food standards of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, which was jointly established by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO), to which Japan is a signatory.

About raw materials and additives
[Raw materials] phylogenetic: japonica rice, starch classification: non-glutinous rice, varieties: Koshihikari.
[Additive] The rice is grown, stored, polished, and packaged on the farm. No additives are usedat any stage at all. Aida rice is a product that is recommended for people who worry about polluting the environment and those who are health-conscious.
This is a reference to become commodity for export.
It is a convenient vacuum stand pack in taking out of storage.
About the farm
Rice planting takes place on the last day of May. The equipment used for planting is a special machine that is capable of planting larger seedlings.
The rice crop is then harvested with a combine harvester from the last day of September.
Certified fields: Number 7 for rice planting and number 6 for combine harvesting.
A local train runs through the rear of the field on the Uetsu Main Line.
During the winter period about 200 or more swans fly to Aida Farm rice field to feed on weeds . This makes plowing the seeds more easily.
It is full of natural resouces that is good for the emvironment.

About rice storage
This company is a rice storage warehouse.
There is a rice mill installed into the warehouse.
The frame structure of the building is made from heavy gauge steel, the walls from concrete plate, and the roof from clay tiles, meaning that there is little fluctuation of temperature in the room and the still-breathing unhulled rice can be stored in a comfortable environment.

About the dryer, husks storage, low-temperature husks storage, and low-temperature unpolised rice storage
① Dryer and husks storage
There is a 9,000l thermal dryer on the first floor of the warehouse.
2 husks containers have been installed at the rear.
A 2 ton overhead crane is installed on the ceiling of the warehouse and another 1,800l thermal dryer is kept on the second floor. When it's needed, the dryer is transferred by crane to the first floor for operation.
② This is the front entrance of the low-temperature husks storage.
Starting in the last half of June when the rice stocks in the 2 husks storage units begin to decrease, the rice is transferred to 800kg flexible containers and stored at 15°C.
③ Is rice huller.
Once the amount of unpolised rice begins to decrease, the husk of the unpolised rice is removed by machine to make it into unpolised rice.
At this size, the machine can handle weights up to 500 kg, but to remove any remaining rice, the machine must be disassembled and reassembled for cleaning which takes 2 day.
④ Low-temperature unpolised rice storage
We store unpolised rice that's been certified as Grade 1 through quality inspection.
Volume of harvest: We store 28 x 30kg paper bags of unpolised rice at 12°C.
Description of the rice mill
This is the inside of our rice mill that's partitioned off.
The rice polishing equipment is set up in a space that's airtight and sealed off with a stainless steel plate which reaches up to the ceiling. A hygienic environment is maintained, and thorough cleaning is conducted before and after rice polishing.
The packaging process is also carried out in this room.
All of the rice polishing equipment is stored here too.
